Shortly after departure you will fly over the 18th century Fort George before crossing the narrows between the fort and Chanonry point. Travelling along the Black Isle you can see the fishing villages of Fortrose, Rosemarkie, and Avoch before heading to Munlochy Bay. Continuing along the north shore of the Beauly firth and on towards the old priory town of Beauly.

On the return leg of the journey you will pass over Beaufort Castle, Moniack Castle and winery then on to the city of Inverness before Culloden Battlefield, the river Nairn and the Nairn Valley passing the spectacular railway viaduct with views of Kilravock and Cawdor castles.
